Reiner Design Consultants was formed by Roger Gorman in 1984. Clients past and present include some of the biggest names in the music world, such as Madonna, Air, Aerosmith, the Mexican rock group Jaguares, David Bowie, Ween, Metallica, Queensryche, and the Misfits.
Gorman won a Grammy Award in 1990 for his design of David Bowie's "Sound and Vision" CD package.
Book design is another Reiner Design specialty. We've just finished working on a definitive history of silent movies, appropriately titled, "Silent Movies: The Birth of Film and the Triumph of Movie Culture." We've designed books on everything from drag queens to chopper motorcycles, as well as working with some of the most interesting names in photography, including Elinor Carucci and Andres Serrano.
Despite the firm's artsy pedigree (St. Martin's College), Reiner has also established a firm client base within corporate culture. Some of our clients include Bacardi, Exxon, Coca Cola, Qwest, Martini, Dewars, Daimler Chrysler, MTV and VH1, among others.
Over the past several years we've also developed a sub-specialty in medical publication design. We've redesigned the British Medical Journal, the Annals of Internal Medicine and the Western Journal of Medicine. We're currently working with St. Francis Hospital on Long Island to overhaul their graphic presence.
Reiner Design Consultants has a diverse portfolio and many different areas of expertise. If you'd like a more complete look at our many projects, please contact us and we'll send over a portfolio.
